10th Anniversary of the Opening of the Johnstone-Sare Building

Bartlesville, we can hardly believe it has been 10 years since our family celebrated the opening of the Johnstone-Sare Building with the ceremonial Lighting of the Building on December 31, 2013.

Reimagining and rebuilding, after the devastating arson fires that almost caused a total loss of this building, was a series of acts of faith, then small victories, until one day the doors re-opened.

Here is a news article from Channel 6 News On Six about that day, and featuring my late father, Clyde Sare.

I hope you and your family have happy memories of events here – weddings, father-daughter dances, anniversary parties, baby showers, art shows, holiday markets, grand gala affairs, visits with political candidates and elected officials, the parade of babies getting their photos taken for the annual New Years Baby cover of B Monthly magazine ….

Thank you for believing with me and my family, and my late father Clyde Sare, in our dream for this building.

Here’s to many more happy events here for the next 10 years and beyond.
